Trimbakeshwar is a sacred Hindu town located in the Nashik district of Maharashtra, India, and is home to the famous Trimbakeshwar Temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and houses one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, making it an important pilgrimage site for Shiva devotees. It is also the source of the Godavari River, often referred to as the "Ganga of the South."The temple was constructed by Peshwa Nana Saheb in the 18th century and showcases beautiful Nagara-style architecture with black stone carvings, intricate sculptures, and towering spires.
